Two exciting new celebrity and retailer collaborations have been launched this week: Beyonce x Topshop, and Alexa Chung x M&S
Beyonce co-created the sportswear range Ivy Park , a capsule collection of stylish, modern activewear, including sports bras, leggings, shorts, t shirts and jackets.
Alexa has breathed life back into some vintage classics with Archive by Alexa – a selection of M&S designs from their archive, reworked for 2016.
Read on to see what I’m coveting, and click here to see another post about great fashion collaboration.

Who doesn’t love a classic shirt? I am certainly a huge advocate of oversized shirt dresses, so The Edna Shirt (£35.00) really ticks all the boxes! Plus vertical stripes are definitely the most flattering print for a menswear-style piece.
I also absolutely adore The Misty Dress (£45)  which really plays on the 1950’s suburbia vibe. It’s actually inspired by a skirt from the archive in the same pattern, which I think works really well in this tea dress shape. Definitely on my wishlist as it’s not surprisingly nearly sold out!

Trench coats are just one of those things that every woman (and man) needs in their wardrobe. A timeless classic, since I got a vintage one recently it’s transformed my style, just have a peek at these outfit shots featuring the vintage beauty!

I love the khaki colour (another evergreen style) teamed with he black buttons here, and the deep pockets are a must.

This piece (‘The Frances Trench) took its inspiration from a 1950’s raincoat, but is now available a just £89 here.

Roll up the sleeves, tie the belt tight and team with chelsea boots and you are good to go. The sidewalk is your catwalk after all!

Below are some pieces I really like from Ivy Park, Beyonce’s new collaboration with Topshop.  The matching sports bra and running shorts combo are a definite win for the gym, and the leggings are such an interesting print, totally disguise any lumps and bumps and will instantly make you feel ready to work out. I am definitely a believer in wearing the right gear, and have a rather large selection of yoga pants, but stylish sportswear genuinely makes you want to exercise! Shop the whole collection here.

  1. I love Alexa's collaboration and tried on a few pieces – the gorgeous pink jumper, navy cable knit, black and white floral dress and cigarette trousers. Can't decide what to buy though! I like that Alexa used the M&S archives so there was something more interesting about the collaboration. Alexa can do no wrong though! x
