I’ve been in London this week for the second of my fashion course, so of course there has been extra effort to dress the part! However, it was essential to be comfortable and cool for long, busy days. On the first day I was feeling retro so donned a Primark suede shift dress and sheer black waistcoat, along with my new American Apparel floppy hat and vintage sunglasses.
Day two surprised me with hot, humid weather so I decided it was crop top and hot pants time. This pinstripe split-back tank and tan denim shorts are both from the American Apparel sale. The watch, which is my new favourite accessory, is from Urban Outfitters. It has a globe/world map decorating the face, which I adore!
This outfit actually got me snapped in Soho by a street style photographer! The camel coat is an old Topshop purchase, the floral cami is from Miss Selfridge and my trusty black jeans are H&M. If all else fails, simple looks usually work best!
I couldn’t resist a little shopping spree the night before, I mean London really does give an abundance of retail choice! The nautical vest is from Topshop on Oxford Street (Only £6!), the oversized denim jacket is by Monki and the trousers- which are a high waisted, tailored fit- were a find from Absolute Vintage.
On the last day I went for a feminine look, comprising a beautiful a-line paisley skirt from my new favourite store Beyond Retro, with a wrap front jersey top from New Look and a Kakao by K necklace.
