Hey lovely readers, Ruth here! Sorry for the delay in posts, content will be regularly updated again now that I’m back from my holiday. Which leads me to the focus of this very post- I was lucky enough to visit Norway for two weeks, and was totally inspired by the stylishness of Bergen and Oslo, as well as the breathtaking scenery of fjords, glaciers and mountains in more rural parts of this fabulous country.
One thing that struck me whilst shopping in Oslo (disclaimer: Scandinavia is not cheap!) was the incredible window displays. From high-street shops like Monki and Bik Bok, to luxury department stores, visual merchandising was really creative, as well as the fantastic street art, architecture and sculptures. I spotted some great street style on the locals too!
I was also completely inspired by the views from our road trip around the winding roads, tunnels and waterfalls of Norway. The sunrises and sunsets were so worth staying up to catch, and I feel truly blessed to have been able to take photos of majestic mountains and sketch huge pine forests right from my front door.
