As much as I can, I try to wear something every day from a Scotland-based designer, and when its not possible with my clothes, thats where accessories ┬ácome in. I decided to do an outfit photoshoot with my flatmate, friend and talented photographer Skye Lyon to showcase some accessories from the new collections of some great Scottish brands; Iolla, Araminta Campbell and Silk Purse Sow’s Ear.

Mother’s Day at Fort Kinnaird

Back in March my lovely mum and I were invited by Fort Kinnaird, a shopping complex in Edinburgh, to enjoy some treats to celebrate Mother’s day, including afternoon tea at Patisserie Valerie and some pampering at The Body Shop. We had a wonderful time (I mean I always have a wonderful time with Mumma MacGilp because she rocks) and took some lovely pictures so I thought I’ve give you guys an insight into what we got up to. Daina Renton, the fabulous female joker, creatively directs and expertly curates Edinburgh-based Feroce Magazine, my new favourite fashion magazine, unlike any other. Feroce comes out twice a month in print and digital, filled to the brim with editorial campaigns from the world’s most innovative fashion photographers, stylists, make up artists and models.
