The Shore is probably on of my favourite places in Edinburgh. Beautiful modern buildings and amazing pubs and restaurants overlook the Water of Leith and the whole place looks like a mini Amsterdam. I had a great time shooting this outfit with Lyndsey from Edinburgh lifestyle blog The Quiet Resolution This was probably the first time in 2017 I’ve worn a dress without tights because Scotland is cold as hell. In a culture of supermarket fashion, we have become so far detached geographically and mentally from the people who make our clothes that we have forgot how much it actually costs to make them. Fashion Communication Lookbook Photoshoot: Anthropologie

Throughout this year I’ve had the opportunity through my Fashion Communication degree course to be on the other side of the camera for a change, styling, photographing and directing creative projects which I’m learning more about every day. My most recent experience was shooting a mock campaign for an Anthropologie lookbook, featuring model Mirrin Hegarty and make-up artist Cait Owens.

Women in Contemporary Society Photography Exhibition

 

exhibitionLast Friday I attended the opening night preview of Women in Contemporary Society, a photography exhibition by third year students at Napier University as part of Space: Occupied at Trinity Apse. The collective involves talented photographers Rosemary Adler, Cirstyn Brown, Jade Cofor, Oliver Forde, Agata Kozlowska, Sandi Macdonald-Haig and Stewart Main, all creating unique works around the theme of female identity in the modern world.
