There is so much more to blogging than attending fancy fashion events, being showered with goodie bags and glugging champagne with fellow ‘influencers’. In fact, this blog post by Alice from Twenty-Something City nails the often glamourous misconceptions about being a blogger that are accompanied by shit tons of hard work that goes on behind the scenes. Last week I was invited to Campfire Session 002, a live music performance and light installation by Edinburgh-based creative studio Campfire at Printworks Studios in Leith. Inspired by the theme of fluidity, form, colour and cymatics, this unique experience featured an exclusive debut session with Richard Jahn, experimental London-based songwriter, DJ and producer.
I can hardly contain my excitement (and stress), its only 5 days until Coburg House Open Studios! Read more to find out why this is one free festive shindig that’s certainly not to be missed!
Its deadline season, which for me means fully embracing stressful student life whilst working and freelancing full time, and hunkering down with engaging podcasts, rather than music, whilst getting work done. I’ve been listening to podcasts pretty much 8 hours a day now, so I thought I’d share my top ten favourite podcasts that I am unashamedly addicted to. I hope you can give me some recommendations in the comments too because I’m running out of episode to binge on!
