Back in 2015 I was lucky enough to recieve a crash course in fashion PR from Tom Handley, fashion industry expert renowned professor at Parsons School of Design in New York City as part of the Fashion Communication and Promotion short course run by Central St Martins. His golden nuggets of advice have stuck with me ever since, so when Tom approached me I was honoured to interview him all about his career, albeit over a fuzzy Skype call. The Best Ethical Fashion Resources

When it comes to fashion, an industry that changes constantly and rapidly, you can never stop learning. I think to write about fashion, and in this case ethical fashion, I’ve got to stay educated, above and beyond my university course, so I thought I’d compile here some of my favourite ethical fashion resources, including the best book, film, magazine, blog, podcast and Ted talk. The Dundee Fashion Guide

Last week I went to Dundee for the first time ever (bar stopping off via the train to Aberdeen when I went to uni there), and it was unexpectedly fashion-filled and fun. I’d heard some amazing things about the small Scottish city, with its newly developing modern waterfront, highly exteemed art schools and a host of talented fahsion brands and manufacturing, so I thought I’d take a day trip and compile a fashionistas guide to Dundee.

Ethical Fashion Event Edinburgh: Fashion Revolution Week 2017

As I write this, I’ve just come back from the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Innovation (ECCI) after an insanely eventful event all about celebrating all things ethical fashion during Fashion Revolution Week with Colour Elements, at which I spoke on a panel of experts after a film screening of Slowing Down Fast Fashion. This picture shows one of the Scottish sustainable fashion brands that showcased at the night, Cloh, a new contemporary menswear label that utilizes quality re-purposed textiles, like ‘linen’ made from plastic bottles used to make stunning oversized shirts.
