Craft Scotland and Urbanity are delighted to host an Edinburgh Bloggers Night, on the 24 August at 17:00–19:30 on the Second Floor of White Stuff, 89 George St, Edinburgh EH2 3ES
This is your chance to get together in a stylish venue right in the heart of the city and browse the Craft Scotland Summer Show. The Craft Scotland makers and friendly team will be on-hand to talk you through the process and materials behind the work.
A haven for design-lovers, the Craft Scotland Summer Show brings you a shopping experience like no other. This annual selling exhibition showcases contemporary, design-led craft throughout August, where you can shop a carefully curated selection of distinctive homewares, handcrafted textiles, design-led jewellery and considered furniture from a huge selection of Scottish craftspeople.
New for this year, we have exciting maker-led workshops, including applique with Emily Millichip, spoon carving with The Object Company, and ring making with Carve. At the event, there will be drinks, goodie bags, music and also a pop-up coffee bar from Williams and Johnson with opportunities for tasting new and exciting blends.
For the past five years, White Stuff has hosted the Craft Scotland Summer Show in their flagship Edinburgh store. Craft Scotland is delighted to collaborate with White Stuff on the Summer Show. Both organisations believe that craft is an essential part of our cultural, economic and social life and make it a priority to regularly work with other like-minded agencies to achieve this goal. This event is also supported by Creative Scotland, The List, and Williams and Johnson Coffee.
