Last week I was invited to Campfire Session 002, a live music performance and light installation by Edinburgh-based creative studio Campfire at Printworks Studios in Leith. Inspired by the theme of fluidity, form, colour and cymatics, this unique experience featured an exclusive debut session with Richard Jahn, experimental London-based songwriter, DJ and producer.
Its deadline season, which for me means fully embracing stressful student life whilst working and freelancing full time, and hunkering down with engaging podcasts, rather than music, whilst getting work done. I’ve been listening to podcasts pretty much 8 hours a day now, so I thought I’d share my top ten favourite podcasts that I am unashamedly addicted to. Lots of people have been asking me what it is that I actually do at uni, as my course it the only one of its kind in Scotland and is not exactly a traditional fashion course! I got the chop! Last week, I got my sharp bob restyled into a choppy pixie cut, and my dull dry bleach job transformed to soft lilac blonde at NOIRouge, an elegant hair and beauty salon in Edinburgh’s West End.
