So I got my hair did. Its blue. Yep.  I let the team at Austen Thomson Hair experiment on my locks all night long until it transformed into an aqua mermaid fantasy, whilst filming for a halloween hair tutorial.
With tones of bright cobalt blue, mint green, pastel yellow and baby blue, using Schwarzkopf Professional, it feels totally unique, but sure takes a lot of getting used to after having very pale pink hair! I decided to do a little outfit post showing a classic autumnal look, which really pops against the bright blue ‘do!
The striped sweater dress with side splits is from H&M, styled with a grey wool coat from Debenhams, thigh high suede boots from Schuh, watch from Olivia Burton and a Charlie Feist bag (my new favourite minimalist vegan accessories brand!)

I was worried it might be tricky to style coloured clothing with such bright coloured hair, but I really like the warm, autumnal tones of the dress against the cool, wintery tones of the hair. I feel like an ice queen mermaid and I’m learning to love it. What do you think?
