As an Edinburgh resident working in retail, moving to The Granite City to study fashion at university was a big change. It’s interesting to compare the different street style looks, shopping opportunities, and attitudes towards clothing here.

I thought it would be good to talk with some girls from my Fashion Management course about their personal style and thoughts about Aberdeen compared to their home towns.

One student here is Gerda Szabo (pic left), a fashion addict from Hungary. In regards to how she dresses, Gerda told me she follows new trends and matches them with more classic garments. Her personal style is elegant and pretty without too many accessories.

Some more street style looks are pictured below from an article I wrote for The Tab Aberdeen. For full outfit details click here! In a competition between Robert Gordon University and Aberdeen University, RGU won the poll on the most stylish students.Read my review to see why!

  1. Definitely think you're right about Edinburgh being more adventurous with its style. I'd love to see more (good quality) second-hand/vintage shops cropping up in Aberdeen. 🙂

  2. Marvelous pictures! I am so addicted to such fashion blogs. You know I also run a fashion blog and share the details regarding all the fashion events that I attend at the local venues NYC and other destination venues.
